Dr. Brooke Lyons 

Dr. Brooke Lyons is a registered Industrial Organisational (I/O) Psychologist in BC Canada and New Zealand. Dr. Lyons has over 20 years’ experience providing I/O psychological support to a wide range of organisations, including private industry, government, public sector, and non-profit organisations. In addition to her primary passion for leadership assessment and development, Dr. Lyons supports organisations in the areas of executive coaching, helping to build a respectful workplace and resolve conflicts.

Dr. Lyons began her career in 2004 as a uniformed psychologist with the New Zealand Army, attaining the rank of Captain before moving to Vancouver, BC, in 2008 to work as an organisational consultant and manager with a nationwide Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) company. In 2017 she opened her own private practice, providing organisational development, coaching, and assessment work - as well as university lecturing to post graduate psychology students.

Dr. Lyons joined BLA as an associate in 2016 and became the President and CEO in February 2019. Brooke is a member of the British Columbia Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
